Do you know that i feel useless when i cannot find my hand and foot cordination while trying to drive my dad's manual car?
I really do!
Sis will be busy marking 5 piles of composition papers, so that means she won't be gg to the weekly religious class tmrw, which means she won't be driving, which means dad will be driving us there, which means i have to face my other cousins who will always ask everytime sis is not there to drive us, me or my mum why didn't i drive, which means i have to put up a brave, embarrassed, smiling face telling them that i still have yet find my confidence in driving a manual car, which means i have to look their faces which kinda like say,"but hey, u have a driving licence which u passed while driving a manual car," or, " you drove for 2 years in Perth..." which means that after the class we (me and mum n aunt n cousin) will have to take a cab home..
I'm such a useless daughter, who took her manual driving licence abt 2.5 years ago,(so i drove a manual car for less 1 year during practical lessons with CDC and then having passed, i drove it like, what, once a week? or even less) then drove an auto car everyday for 2 years, and then now, i cannot even bring myself to drive a manual car, properly.Without causing any certain feeling of panick or discomfort, (to me or my passengers who would be my mum and my aunt n a cousin), should in case the engine suddenly stall, and the car behind start to sound their horns, or when the car wouldn't move forward from its stationary position on a slope, having to roll backwards and my fear of hitting the car behind. (Coz i had that kind of phobia when Baby Char rolled backwards on a slope during peak hour in Perth) Or when i will miss a turn coz the car in the next lane would not give way.. the list continues...
I am so useless and so stupid, and so good for nothing daughter!
So, please try to understand, its not that i was too stubborn not to drive my dad's manual car when sis is not free to drive, its simply because i need to get used to driving a manual car. I need to get back to the basics. I need to find my hand n foot co-ordination so that my passengers will have a smooth and safe ride when i'm driving. Ok, i have one item on my birthday list already.
Oh, never mind, i'll just get it myself or share the cost with sis when i'm able to finance the cost of the car and monthly interest for the next 10-20 years.
