For the first time in 2 years here, i took the bus to the city alone. Was told to look out for number 72 or 75 which would take me to City Center where i have to look out kangaroo statues before pressing the bell. While waiting along Albany Highway, during that 1 hour wait, neither 72 nor 75 bus came. I should have asked Ida to drop me off at Curtin Bus stop instead coz for sure, there's number 72 or 75, but too late, as much as i didn't wanna trouble her and furthermore she didn't bring her hp with her, i have to make do with waiting at the intended bus-stop where no 72 nor 75 will pass by.The only busses i saw were 210, 220, 211, 212, 213, 215 (ok, i just type it out here, in case i need to take the bus again to the city in the next few days). At least now i know that 210 goes to the city (coz i took that bus and asked the bus driver if he goes to City Center, and then i got excited when i saw the kangaroo status 'on the left hand side of the road from the bus u're taking' coz thats when i know its time for me to get off to meet Erni who directed me to go all the way straight till the end "where i will meet u at the other end")See, the power of kangaroo statues('where u will see on the left hand side of the road from the bus'). Oh, did u know that when u take the bus here, its free if u travel within the city area? (i.e u take bus from home and alight in the city, then u take another bus in the city and alight at another bus stop within the city, the second bus u take is free!)Yup! Its free! We just need to show the bus driver our receipt from the last bus that we took when we dropped off in the other bus stop in the city. All the driver need to do is to look at ur receipt frm the previous bus, and then nod, and then off u go to ur seats. And oh, did you know that when passengers alight at their intended bus stop, once the door open, before taking their step out of the bus, they will actually look at the driver and said, "Thank you!" That's what Erni did when we alighted, well, thats what me and my sister did when we alighted the bus here/Adelaide. Even though its free!Try doing that in Singapore when u take the SBS/Yellow bus ok? Say thank you to the bus driver who brings you to ur intended bus stop. :)Ok, so i got Baby Char today. I drove her around, still feeling kinda scared, u know when u've experienced how it feels like to have a broken down car in the middle of the road, i wouldn't want that to happen again to us! Driving her was ok, BUT, stopping her at the lights was not ok, coz when i depress the brake paddle i can feel a very bad vibration, yup, whenever it stops, so each time i stopped, i have to change the gear to N, so it wouldn't vibrate as much. She has never vibrated that much before, but, just now, it was so bad that i can even see my front bonnet vibrating. It wasn't nice at all, but as soon as i'm driving, its all smooth.I still need to see another mechanic as soon as i can so that "Baby Char breaking down again" will not happen. Thats what the mechanic told me. So, my plan was to stay at home the next 2 days and not drive her around in case something happens. No workshops are opened on weekends so that'll have to wait till Monday.
