The original plan for today was to wait till after 6 to go to Perth Royal Show.
Why after 6? Because when we came last year, the entrance ticket was halved, from $18 to $9.
When we reached Perth Royal Show entrance, and saw the signage, and asked the staff at the ticketing counter, we decided to forgo the idea. Why? Because, it was already around 8 at that time, and we have to pay he full $18 for just 1 and a half hour? We could have been there earlier,then its worth it. Disapointed, all four of us!! Very disappointed, since we've been anticipating for today to come, and when it finally came, the price of $18 is just too much to spend for an hour or so. Our hearts crashed. Kecewa, kecundang, dan hancur berkecai! We decided to come back on Wednesday at 5.
Horie then suggested we go somewhere else for coffee. We decided to go to Oriel's. Upon reaching there, the signage at the entrace said "10% surcharge applies." Again, we thought, What? Oriel's is already a quite expensive place. Just one drink can cost us up to $8 on a normal day, then today, public holiday (coz its the Queen's birthday) they're gonna add another 1o% charge?
Hmmm...no thanks. We're all dressed up and we had no place to go. SAD.
Then Erni suggested watching Salaam Namaste.
And we agreed. Went to Carousel to catch it, and the movie started at 9 and we missed the first 5 minutes. I bought my popcorn, which i find it a little too and way too salty.
Anyways,
And we enjoyed the movie.
And we left the theater feeling happy. Coz it was such a great movie. Its a hindustani movie, but filmed in Melborne. (Ok, Farah, i tak jadi pergi MelB, tgk cerita hindustan yg difilemkan di MElb pun jadilah..ehehe)
Oh, while waiting for the day to go by, guess what i did today?
I washed Baby Char. Well, not really washed her, i just merely wiped her and make sure that all the windows and screens are clean. All i did was wipe, and i felt really tired, that i took a nap after that. But, in the car, they noticed the difference when Horie mentioned that she need to wash her car tmrw after seeing how clean BAby Char was.. Hee! Tak sangka, boleh nampak kebersihan keretaku... KAlau tak, kotor sekali. Especially semalam. Ni baru lap cermin, lum lap body lagi...
Nanti satu hari nak gi car wash la...
