Thanks to Erni, i just knew that i am not on P.

Erni, Sitti and i were discussing to have a short get away during our week break.
We planned to go down south and we planned to rent a car. Initially, Erni and me planned to go to Melbourn or Brisbane or both, but we decided not to..Then Sitti brought up this idea of going down south..So, Lin and Farah, i won't be visiting u in MelB or Brissy ok?

The problem is, P drivers here are not allowed to rent cars.
To rent the car, we need to pay by credit card.
Both Erni and Horie are not on P, but they don't have credit cards.
Both Sitti and me have credit cards, but we're still on P. Especially Sitti, still freshly P..hehe
And Erni can't be named the driver coz she isunder 25.
So that leaves with me, Sitti and Horie.
Horie is out coz she has no card, Sitti is out coz she's on P, and i'm out too.

Thenn...

I told Erni that my WA licence didn't state when i passed my driving.
Only my Sg licence states so, and if i were to drive in Sg, i won't be under P, so i dun need that triangle thingy on d screens. In Sg, probation is for 1 year, here, probation if for 2 years.

Our conversation on msn went something like this:

Me: i punya WA licence tak letak bila i pass, cuma ada expiry date je
Erni: Ur licence ada word Probation to: tak? On d side that has ur picture.
(I take a good look at my licence, to look for any P, or the word Probation, but i couldn't find any.
Me: Takde pun? the only P that i see is the one in the word expiry.
Erni: Betul? Slalu kalau under P, ada Probation to: after expiry date, before Class type.
Me: There's expiry date: 5 April 06, and after that, next line is Class C.
Erni: LINDA!!!!!
Me: Apa?
Erni: tu maknanya u are not on P!!!!!
Me: iye ke? Jadi tu maknanya sejak i ada kereta ni i tak payah letak that P sticker la on my screen?
Erni: A'ah la.
Me: Lerrr!!!Baru saya tahu.. Patutlah masa i get my driver's licence last yr the person tak bagi any P stickers to me, when my frens on P all said i shd get. (Rupanya dia terlupa that one line!!)
Erni: *lol* You ni buat lawak yg tak dapat dilupakan la!
Me: How was i to know?? I cuma tahu 31st oct i will remove my stickers and come 1 nov, i'm not on P.. hehe
Erni: haha!! ok, yay! problem solved! Bunbury here we come!!!

So, we get to rent the car for $130 for 3 days, (actually its for 2 days but Sitti said that we wanna rent it on thurs and return it on sat, the person at the car rental told her, that it will make no difference if we return it on sat, it will still be $130! So, its 3 days for the price of 2! Whee!)to be shared among 4 of us, coz i'm not on P and i can use my card and im above 25, so thats why we can get the car for $130, if not, its $148.
We will be meeting to discuss 1 of this days what and how the actual plan is, then, off we go to book the car. Hee! My first road trip.

And i will only remove my P on Baby Char on 31 oct, that's 2 years after i passed my driving test! Although i can remove the stickers now, i just dun wnat to, coz i like the way drivers here treat P drivers, unlike, of course some drivers in Sg, they won't give way whether ur under P or not! And those some drivers doesn't include me, i tried to give way whenever i can, and i get honked by drivers behind me! Pfttt.. that explains why i didn;t drive in Sg.
