I think i have recovered from my PMS days... Yay! Its over!! I'm all smiles and dun mind the slightest things.. Except this morning, when i didn't feel good, that i didn't go for class and lectures, but met up with Sitti to accompany her for lunch before meeting my mates for portfolio meeting.

Had a little conversation with a green-eyed, dark brown haired guy while waiting for Arina. Was sitting on a bench (think Forest Gump, the bench he sat on while telling people his life story, similar wooden bench). I was sitting on end of the bench when this guy who has been standing around that area suddenly came up to me and asked if the seat is taken, of course i said no... We talked awhile about how we hated assignments and many more and what i found interesting was this part:

After about 10 minutes conversating...

him: so, where do u come from?
me: Oh, i'm from Singapore. What about you?
him: I'm from Bali.
me: *awed* really? Bali? wow!!
him: yeah, a lot of people never believed me when i said i was from Bali.
me: so, u mean your family are in Bali? u grew up there?
him: yeah.. my family is in Bali.....

And the conversation continued...

him: Oh, my name is Marcus, by the way
me: Marcus, hi, i'm linda *shakes hand*
Marcus: Nice to meet u Linda..
me: Nice to meet u too, Marcus..

And continued again...

Basically he was there in my building looking for someone who can speak Balinese, to help him do his assignment.. I think he needed someone who converse in Bali with him and record the conversation or something like that. I asked him if he would say out a sentence in Balinese coz i thought Balinese languange and Indonesian is the same language,(then i can help him) and when he did, i didn't understand a thing at all! Wow!! I was amazed. I asked him what did he just say, and he replied, "Oh i just said Selamat Pagi, Apa khabar." Then i said, oh, u just said good morning and how are u in BAlinese? that was so cool! ANd he was surprised that i understood that and i explained to him that i'm a malay when he asked if i was malay indonesian or whatever..hehe

Interesting!!!!! A caucasian green eyed browned haired guy, who looked like a typical angmo, was from Bali and speaks fluent Balinese, Indonesian and English... Wow!!
