Watched the IOC (Or was it OIC? definitely IOC coz cannot be OIC right? haha) and in 2012 the world will be glued to London for the Olympic games... And come to think of it, Paris lost just 4 votes to London! Hmm... If u've read the news, someone from France had mention that 'we're not here to woo Singapore, we're here strictly for the IOC only..' What does that sound like to you? Arrogance?? I think so..
And did u watch the video from London? I love!! They implement the sports into their everyday lives such that the video managed to capture my attention..especially the part where there's these ladies (i found out that they're stewardess) waiting for the green man to appear, and once it appeared, they start crossing the road as if they were in a brisk walking race..Funny! And witty too! It potrayed a very happy video. Weeeeeeee...!!
So, London, sooner or later i will be there again.. Not to watch the Olympics in 2012, but maybe earlier than that - probably to visit my sister or to attend her convocation there.
Yes, my dear sis had decided to pursue her masters in London. Maybe next year, maybe the year after. Insya-Allah..
The last time i was in London was when i was 14..More than 12 years ago. It was so long ago that i can remember not many things, because 1. i'm old now and i tend to forget things easily 2. i was too young then and i coulnd't remember easily and 3. the ost important of all, our camera froze while we were at London Bridge. It was winter and the temparature was freezing cold! We froze, even though we were covered in our winter clothes. So, did our camera. What a pity. Maybe thats partially why could not really remember London, apart from the visit to the famous wax musem, Madamme Tusaude.
Talking about convocation earlier right, just remembered, last friday, after my mom came back from her weekly belajar ugama session at Darul aman mosque, she brought home this plastic bag and came into my room and said:
Mama: Aku da beli kain untuk buat baju untuk kau graduate tahun depan.. Bulan 12 nanti boleh hantar untuk buat baju..
I was speechless.. She's already thinking about my graduation? Because i was thinking of NOT attending my graduation ceremony next year, i dunno why, just don't want to..Hmmm... Then the kain was very pretty. It was from Dubai, and my mom bought it 3 different pastel colours at $126 each! They were light brown, creamy light orange and light green. I decided on the light orange, my mom took brown and my sister will have green..
Note my previous entry about how i so wanted Chendol Mr Softee. That was last week, and i still hadn't had my Mr Softee. Apparently that day i so wanted that chendol mr softee, that i decided to eat the cheesecake and blueberry icecream frm the fridge. I scooped such big amounts that my marginal utility for ice cream had drowned away after i finished it. Tulah, siapa surh gelojoh?? So that's why i still hadn't had my chendol mr softee..
Till my next entry..dunno when.. I'm not as dilligent updating my blog here in SG as i was in Perth eh? And i'm not as energetic as i was when i'm in Perth.. I sleep alot nowadays u know!! Cannot be that way right? Haizzz.... I have not been out of house since Sunday! What a bummer!
