So, I have not been blogging for the past...few....week.. Yes...its been nearly a week.. Basically the reason was... EXAMS... And today, i had finally attempt all 3 papers.. within 2 days!
First paper was Finance Portfolio... I dun really know how i'm gonna fare, but it was tough. I don't have any confidence in it. If i manage to just get a 50, i will be very grateful to Allah. Next paper was 7.45 hours after Finance Portfolio paper was handed in. Audit... I think i have a chance to at least pass this unit. Again, if i only get a 50, i thank Allah. And, finally this afternoon was my finance Analysis paper... I was hoping so hard that i could get at least 80% of the whole paper in order to just get a pass. So, i had been trying very hard memorising formulas, this was the paper that i had mentioned in my previous entry where one of the questions alone was worth 45 marks.
For the 45 mark question, i nearly lost all the 45 marks because i forgot the formula for the very first step in working out the question. If i had the first question wrong, its gonna have a domino effect on the next 8 parts of the question. I panicked awhile, and i just couldn't remember whether it was suppose to be a subtract or a plus in that formula... So, i just stick to my first instinct, and use the minus sign,attempting it with a calm heart. If i had it wrong, i will be screwed. If i didn't get this 45 marks, i will only have 40 marks out of the whole paper as i planned to skip the 15 mark question totally. So, just now, it was either a 40 mark or an 85 for that paper.
Once dismissed, i quickly took out my formula sheet and i was so glad to see the minus sign in that formula. praise to Allah, Alhamdulillah. I had never been excited to see a minus sign before. So, i think i got the first part right, and Insya-Allah, i will lock in my 45 marks.
And now, its over...3 papers in 2 days. And in a matter of less than 60 hours i will be in Sg. I'm not mentioning exactly when, and the 60 hours is not the exact clue, it could be more, it could be less than 60 hours. It could be in an hours time, it could be in 24 hours time, it could be in 6 hours time (+- journey from Perth to Sg). And i'm not mentioning when...*wink*
So, my sister is here. she arrived on the 9th in the early hours at 5:50. I left my place at 6:20 am coz she told me that the plane will touch down at 6:20 am. As i was reaching the parking lot, my phone started ringing, and she and her friends were already at the airport waiting for me...
Later in the noon, went to send her at the apartment where she stayed with her friends for the night as she's joining her friends for a tour the follwing morning and boy, looking for that apartment took us like forever!!! It took me nearly 2 hours to loctae the building (well, considering my driving experience in looking for a new place) and the best part is, the apartment was so new that it was not in the street directory or map and not many people knew about it. And, and, and...the funny part was that we actually walked past it, drove past it many many many times without realising that it was the apartment because one, it was new, it looked like anew place doing some last minute renovation or touching up. And the lobby had only 1 receptionist sitting behind the desk which was fairly high, so that means while she was sitting, we cuould hardly see her and finally, the name of the apartmet was not visible enough. It was just on the wall. Looking for that apartmetn just get me on my nerves. But its a 4 star apartment, but i still prefer the one at Mounts Bay's 4 star apartment coz it was much bigger, there'soom service and it was just...muich better... When we eventually entered the apartment after spending hours looking for it, this hard-to-find apartment look very new. I won't be surprised it my sis and her friends are the first to use that room. And guess what i found in one of the closet? A vacuum cleaner...so, that means there's no room service.. hmmm... Well, i have nothing against this apartment, but the experience looking for it in the pouring rain just made it so...unplesant... But, its a nice place.. Statton at Murray...
Ok..so, thats about it.. Gonna have an early day tomorrow. My sis and i plan to go out at 8:30 am to go breakfast at Fast Eddy's before continuing her shopping spree. Currently i think she had bought quite a dozen of clothes. I bought the same top from cotton on again this time in magenta.. So, i have 4 similar tops in 4 different colours: Beige, Black, green and magenta. And oh, i bought a beanie for myself at Buss today and earrings frm Buss too.. Beanie originally cost $10 selling for $3, and earrings selling for $1...not those tiny ones, but the big chandalier (correct spelling or not?) ones... and new pair of shoes..2 pars for $60..
