Just received an sms from my dear sister in Singapore. She had her driving practical test this morning and she PASSED on her first try!!! Alhamdulillah... Congratulations kakak!!!Yay!!
She must be very happy today. She got her driving licence, and in a few hours time, well, in about 11.5 hours exactly, she will be heading to Singapore Changi Airport with Nora and Nora's 3 other relatives to check in their bags, to go to Perth to visit me, her dearest sister, whom she'll meet at Perth International Airport tomorrow morning at around 6 am! Double Yay!!!
And the first car that she will drive will be my Baby Char... That means she can have my car and go wherever she wants, and drive me to and from school.
Its been ages since someone sent me and fetch me from school.. I was driven to and fetched from school by my dad since i was in primary school.. From his first maroon Honda Accord till his current white Toyota Corona which he bought in 1998.. And now, i have to drive to school myself in Perth in my white Charade (hence the name Baby Char..hehe..) My first baby step to being independent.
So, yes, my sister will be here tomorrow morning Probably will leave the house to fetch her after Subuh, a little after 5:45 am. Then, in a few days time, i will be flying back to Singapore with her on a 7:45 am flight where we will, reach Changi Airport on an afternoon weekend, Insya-Allah.
What's next? Maybe a new car for me and kakak to use in Singapore?? *winks*
