~Really??? *lol*~
So we bought our fondue ingredients like strawberries and marsmellows and bananas and some cut fruits from Giant Parkway Parade, a bowl of tau suan from Banquet before heading off to find a seat at East Coast. We tried to look for sushi beforehand coz he feels like having sushi, but appararently we were fated not to have sushi that day. See, now u make me wanna eat sushi also.
It took us quite some to light the candle which was a major challenge since we're having it at very windy East Coast, and it felt such an accomplishment to finally light it up. Bravo to him! *claps hands* Next was, melting the chocolates. They were melting very slowlly.. It took us nearly an hour, before my patience runs off and decided to squeeze some juice from the cut watermelons. Still, the outcome was very different from the normal melted chocolate, it became mushy and lumpy, but heck it, what do we care *lol*.
~Do you fondue?~
So we began dipping our fruits and marshmellows and cut short our mini fondue session coz we overlooked the time we're gonna spend lighting up the candle and melting the chocolates, and furthermore, we were late to join his cousin and bf for dinner and Lin at Simpang Bedok, which we had to leave early coz my dad said, 'not to come home late.'
Well, Aya, thank you for the fondue set. It was really lovely. We're planning to have another session, this time, he's gonna bring his bunsen burner and i think we'll make do with chocolate paste (his idea!).
Have a great week!
