My pc has been unresponsive for the past month. That was the longest ever it decided to paly dead on me. Usually the unresponsiveness would last at most 2 days. This time, one whole month.
Last time, when it played dead on me for 2 days and when i had the thoughts of calling up the service centre, it would automatically be normal way before i picked up the phone and make that call.
This time, after numerous attempts trying to locate the invoice, which took about 2 weeks for me to finally find it, then trying to call them with the necessary details like the machine number, serial number which i had a hard time finding coz there were just too many pieces of papers that i had to flip through, (coz i made the call from the office), see, and not having the unresponsive machine directly in front of me was difficult enough.
After having all the necessay details on hand, like, finally this morning, (the machine number could be found on the CPU itself, there's none stated in the invoice), and after faxing through the warranty form (i'm left with about 1 week before the warranty expires), and once i got home, geared up to try out all the different types of machine "CPR" that the service centre had taught me this morning, (like unplugging all the cables and replugging them back, which i had done so like a mad woman for the past 2 weeks), and if that didn't work out, to press F1 numerous times, then proceed with F3 and F5, and if that still didn't work, to call them back and after veryfing my waranty, and they'll arrange for someone to come over to fix it., And now, before i played with the F1 key, i realised that this pc of mine decided to respond to me.
Bah!
Pandai kau bersandiwara dgn aku eh, PC?
Now, i can foresee more of this happening to me/my sister since she'll be back for good in a few weeks. I think i'll still proceed to have someone come over and diagnose my pc. Right? what do you think? I can stil do that, right, right??
Oh, speaking of my sister, she's very relieved now that her papers are all done and that she had tremendously excellent results - 2 High Distinctions and 2 credits!! When i heard that, i was like, wow!! The highest grade i've got when i was in uni was just a blardy B. My parents must've been extremely proud of her coz they speak very highly of my sister all the time. Congratulations kakak! See u in a week!
There, a boring entry about me and my pc.
