I was browsing my friendster list, and decided to take a peep at one of them. Clicking here and there, i realised that my ex-housemate, the one whose room he stayed in for at least 3 months plus, which im using currently, is already married to his girlfriend of 5 years...All i can say is wow! Alhamdulillah...To me, the Faizal(or affectionately known as Ameng) and his girlfriend had a very strong and amazing relationship. Reason being, Ameng had not gone back to KL during his 4 years stay here. That was truly amazing to me. They keep in touch by making full use of the modern technology that we have now, emails, chat, phone calls. I don't know if they call each other each and every night throughout his 4 years stay here, (which according to him, he did not, he only did it after his final year as a student and when he started working and had made the decision to go back to KL last year), but me, staying in the room next to his, i can hear him talking on the phohe with his significant other nearly every night during my 3 months stay with him.And his girlfriend, Leya, although i have not met her personally or talked or chatted with her, is someone who has such strong perseverence, how strong her love is towards him..Imagine 4 years of not meeting or seeing each other. 4 years! Not 4 days, not 4 months...
And, just now, suddenly, i saw their some of their wedding pictures. Its just that i felt so happy and excited to see Ameng on the dais with his beautiful, lovely,wife. Im so very happy. Im so happy for them.The Ameng that we used to have around in this house, eating together, watching tv/dvd together. Laughed and talked together.Played Literati together(i still dun understand the game). Share the same bathroom/toilet together. Went to Carousel to buy some things for his girlfriend which according to him, i was not much of a help, haha. Looked for the kid's birthday present together in the city. Did some groceries shopping together.The very same Ameng that cooked fried rice when he got back late from work during my first night here, when i was feeling all sad and blue and confused. The very same Ameng that initiated the small talks, and showed me how to use the washing machine. He is the very same person that during the nights where i have to to my tutorials late and i didn't have my own study table, and had to use the one in Ida's study room where there is also the computer, he was there, i was behind him doing my work, and he was behind me playing yahoo literati (something like scrable) on the computer. The very same person who prefer to sleep on the couch in the living room when he has his very own room with a nice bed and all. And the very same person who,when i woke up in the middle of the night to go to the loo, was still watching tv,(or the tv watching him sleeping), or was sitting on the floor doing his crossword puzzle.The same person who send me a message from his office, through friendster to tell me that he's wearing the tie i bought for him as a farewell gift, before we send him to the airport to go back to KL for good, and told me that he looked good in it (the tie).Ameng and his beloved, lovely, beautiful wife
That very person is now a happily married man.Alhamdulillah.To Ameng and his dear wife,Leya, sorry i just got to know about your wedding now.From the bottom of my heart, Congratulations! May you have a blessful married life, and may Allah's blessings be with you always.I was excited to see them both as bride and groom and that they're both married that i decided to create this entry.I was hoping that he had engaged Saiful Nang as his photographer, but when i browsed through Saiful Nang's fotopages, i see no picture of Ameng and Leya... :(
