I completed my presentation stuff for Finance International already. When i sent Ariful Hoque an email enquiring about the presentation and whether i need to present using transparencies, he replied that i need to use overhead slides, which according to my own interpretation was transparencies. I bought 4 transparencies from the bookshop at $1.10 each.
Yesterday, while chatting with Kamaruzaman, i asked him how his persentation for finance international was last semester. He said he used ppt slides. And i was like "uh-oh". and then i didn't know what to do. Coz as far as my finance international class is concerned, i did not notice any computer or any such similar device in the classroom last week. Then, i got paranoid, and decided to prepare my presentation answers on BOTH ppt slides and transparencies. at least if he meant ppt overhead slides, i've got the prepared, and if he meant overhead slides as tranparencies, then i have them too! Heh! Hey..this presentation is worth 10 marks of the overall paper ok, and another 5 marks for the remaining classes if we participate actively.
So, i'm done with both ppt and transparencies for tmrw's presentation. Kamaruzaman said there's no need to dress formally, but i know what to wear already for tmrw. Even though formal wear is not needed, i wanted to look nice. Semi-formal or whatever u call it. I'm gonna wear my black pants and purplish/maroon top with my black knee length jacket which i bought one and a half year ago, but hadn't had the chane to wear it, and of course, my black open toed heels..Hehe..Since i'm the first presentor for this unit of the semester for the week and for the day (the class satrts at 8), let me set the benchmark... Semi0formal here i come.. Hehe..
Ok...did i go for my walk by the river yesterday or today? I am not proud to say that i didn't go for it coz yesterday i thpught i had headache. The headache struck me that i was asleep by 8pm! And today, i told myself that if i had finished my presentation stuff, then i'll go. But apparently, i just completed printing out my transparencies. So,there goes my walk. Wasted. Never mind, next week!! I will go..I wanna go, Insya-Allah :)
I think since i have no classes on tuesdays, i'm gonna make that day my movie day. Why? Because movie tickets are sold at half price on tuesdays. Jeng jeng jeng... Instead of paying $11.60 or so per movie on ordinary days, i only need to pay $5++ on tuesdays!! Yay! Insya-Allah after a long day at school on monday (i finished at 8:30 pm on mondays), i'm gonna treat myself to a movie the next day. Never mind all the other people are having classes, i'll go to the movies on my own *smiles*. First on the list: Monster in law, followed by Bewitched, and Charlie and the chocolate factory when it finally comes to Perth.. Yipeee! Mcm happy kan?
Then Erni lend me some of her vcds or is it dvds, 4 of them, three Indonesian - Eiffel...I'm in love, 30 Hari Menanti Cinta and Mengejar Matahari, and one English - Closer starring Julia Roberts. Movie marathon at home?? Weeeee!! I'm still keeping a look out for Save the Last Dance starring Julia Stiles.
Well, well... actually i need to do my accounting concepts and issues tut for tmrw. So, i'd better get going, going...GONE.
