This was yesterday. I couldn't get myself connected to the internet, so thats's why i couldn't post this yesterday. Well, apparently, i was connected to the internet, but i couldn't go to any websites. The same old problem that i had before. Housemate Nal did some 'operation', and the cause of it was a virus that had resided in my laptop. He said this virus , no, its not virus, its a worm.. Naughty worm!! This worm made my computer confused as to which connection to use, coz this naughty worm recreated itself another imaginary connection. Smart, naughty worm!

Well, lets not talk about the worm. I hope Dr Nal can removed that worm from my laptop.

Ok, yesterday, i went o to Al'-hidayah mosque to participate in the celebration of Maulidur Rasul. Got up early, left at 8.15, fetch Diana, then Malini, then Erni and another 30 minutes drive to Hepburn. I have to use that freeway north, (and i don't really like it, note, don't like, not hate) because i have to travel at 100 km/h... Its stress me up! hehe. We reached there at 9.30. Where did i park? Near the church because i could'nt go through the road as the people were getting ready to have a "berarak" complete with kompangs and bunga manggar. Wow! Since i couldn't go through that road, i have to make a detour and park at the place where many cars parked. I thought that was the correct place to park, since many cars went in there, but they were all locals, as in 'mat sallehs', and i thought again, wow, this is so multi-cultural. Only then i realised that we actually parked at the parkaing space for the church-goers.. kekeke...

We joined the perarakan..(i dun know how to say this in english),with the selawah tune, complete with the sounds of kompang, went to the mosque and there we listen to the recitation of the Quran, marhabban by a group of men, nasyid by a group of girls, and berzanji by a group of ladies..folowed by a syarahan by an Ustaz, who was from Indonesia, but was flown in from Sydney. He was a lecturer, and was waiting for his PhD title. Yes, he looked young.. afterthat, we had our Zuhur prayers together, and had our lunch. This Maulidur-Rasul was slightly different from the ones that i had attended in Singapore conducted by Ustaz Fahrurrazi as it doesn't have any majlis zikir conducted. But the atmosphere was the same. It didin't feel like i was in Perth at all because we surrounded by a lot of Malays, some Malaysian and Indonesian. But the one here, we can some Muslim brothers and sisters that are not malay looking. The setting of the lunch outside the mosque reminded me of a wedding that i attended in Brunei 2 years back..

In conclusion, i'm just glad and grateful that i have the chance to attend this Maulidur Rasul, although i'm here in Perth. And oh, each of us get a bunga telur (like a malay wedding one) and a Quran complete with English translation. Alhamdulillah..
